Aircraft Surface Care
Every aircraft is a collection of specialized surfaces, materials, and finishes—each exposed to its own combination of contamination, wear, UV exposure, weather, storage conditions, and operational use.
Aero Gleam evaluates those surfaces individually, cleans them appropriately, and recommends protection based on their condition, environment, and the way the aircraft is used.
Not every surface needs correction. Every surface needs the right care.

Aircraft surface care should begin with understanding the surface—not selecting a product.
Assess.
Identify the surface, evaluate its condition, understand what has contaminated or degraded it, and determine what protection or previous treatment may already be present.
Clean.
Use surface-appropriate methods to remove contamination while minimizing unnecessary abrasion, chemical exposure, or wear.
Preserve.
Select and maintain protection appropriate to the material, its condition, environmental exposure, aircraft use, and the owner's long-term goals.

Exterior Surface Care
The exterior of an aircraft is not a single surface. Paint, acrylic, polished metal, rubber, coated components, and high-exposure areas require different approaches to cleaning, correction, and preservation.
Painted Surfaces
Routine cleaning, contamination removal, surface preparation, oxidation assessment, appropriate correction and polishing, followed by protection selected for the condition and use of the aircraft.
The objective is not to repeatedly correct paint. It is to establish a condition worth maintaining and preserve it.
Plexiglass & Aircraft Transparencies
Aircraft transparencies require specialized care. Aero Gleam provides careful cleaning, contamination removal, polishing and remediation of appropriate surface defects, followed by protection compatible with the transparency and its condition.
Because improper cleaning and correction can create additional scratching, distortion, or unnecessary material removal, transparency care begins with assessment before corrective work is recommended.
Brightwork & Polished Metal
Cleaning, oxidation mitigation, polishing and restoration where appropriate, followed by protection intended to help maintain the corrected surface and reduce the frequency of aggressive future polishing.
Leading Edges & High-Exposure Areas
Leading edges and other high-exposure surfaces encounter insects, environmental contamination, and operational wear more frequently than many other areas of the aircraft.
Aero Gleam combines appropriate contamination removal with recurring protection intended to make subsequent care less aggressive and easier to maintain.
Belly & High-Contamination Areas
Oils, exhaust residue, grease, hydraulic contamination, and accumulated operational soils require cleaning methods selected for both the contaminant and the underlying surface.
Aero Gleam addresses these areas where accessible and appropriate while maintaining awareness of surrounding aircraft materials and components.
Interior Surface Care
An aircraft interior is also a collection of different materials—not simply a cabin that needs to be cleaned.
Aero Gleam approaches interior care according to the material, its condition, its use, and the appropriate method of preservation.
Leather & Upholstery
Cleaning and conditioning appropriate to the material and its existing condition, with an emphasis on maintaining appearance, feel, and service life rather than simply creating a freshly detailed appearance.
Carpet & Textiles
Vacuuming, spot treatment, encapsulation, or extraction as appropriate, accompanied by controlled drying procedures intended to minimize retained moisture.
Cockpit & Sensitive Areas
Conservative cleaning methods appropriate for high-touch and sensitive cockpit surfaces, with particular attention to product selection, application method, and control of moisture.
Interior Trim & Hard Surfaces
Cleaning and protection selected according to material, wear, contamination, and applicable manufacturer considerations.
The objective is not simply to make the cabin look clean. It is to maintain the materials from which the cabin was built.
Correction Is Sometimes Necessary.
Preservation Should Make It Less Necessary.
Oxidation, staining, scratching, neglected brightwork, damaged transparencies, and other surface deterioration may require corrective work to restore an acceptable condition.
Correction, however, can involve material removal or additional stress on a surface. Aero Gleam's long-term objective is therefore not repeated correction.
Our goal is to correct when appropriate, establish a condition worth maintaining, and then use appropriate cleaning and protection to preserve that condition for as long as practical.
Correct when necessary. Preserve whenever possible.
Protection Matched to the Aircraft
The longest-lasting coating is not automatically the right protection for every aircraft or every surface.
Aero Gleam selects protection according to the material, existing condition, storage environment, aircraft utilization, maintenance frequency, and the owner's goals.
Short-Term Protection
Appropriate for surfaces receiving frequent care, aircraft operating on shorter maintenance intervals, or situations where regular surface observation is desirable.
Extended Protection
Longer-duration protection for suitable painted and exterior surfaces where condition, utilization, and maintenance intervals support an extended preservation strategy.
Long-Term Ceramic Protection
Multi-year coating systems may be appropriate when the aircraft's surface condition, preparation requirements, operating environment, and ownership goals support a longer-term protective system.
Ceramic protection is not treated as a universal solution. It is one preservation option selected when it is appropriate for the aircraft and surface.
Surface Care Without a Program Commitment
Aircraft do not need to participate in the Aero Gleam Stewardship Program to receive professional surface care.
Aero Gleam provides individual cleaning, corrective, restorative, and protective services when appropriate. A Surface Consultation can be used to evaluate a particular concern, establish the condition of an aircraft, or determine the appropriate course of action for a specific surface.
The Stewardship Program is designed for owners and operators who want those services organized into an ongoing preservation strategy with recurring care, surface observation, assessments, and documentation.
